After farewelling us at Zen Oasis, enjoy the surrounding area which is rich with history and culture, not to mention the natural beauty of the environment that is your’s to explore.

Berrima historic village is less than 10 minutes away, and full of nostalgia.  Visit the Berrima Gaol and Courthouse and the Surveyor General Hotel as two of the areas oldest examples of late 1800’s living.

Travel a further 5 minutes toward Mittagong, on the Old Hume Highway to the Berkelouw Book Barn, a huge collection of old and new treasures. A definite must for the discerning reader and collector, both young and old.

Alternatively, continue on to Bowral, passing the Centennial Winery (host to the “A Day on the Green” concerts), open for cellar door wine tastings.

The Bradman Cricketing Museum and Oval is located in the heart of Bowral and within easy walking distance to a specialty tea shop in Boolwey Street, boutique shops in Bong Bong Street, art gallery in Station Street and many cafes from which to choose.

Finally, relax in Corbett Gardens, the place of the annual Tulip Festival.
